No, the event is free. However, we encourage everyone to take part in the day by fundraising beforehand. Knowing you have your family & friends support makes it even more fulfilling and fun!

If you registered online and picked up your T-shirt from Friendship Circle in advance you do not need to check in.

Yes, registration tables will be at the Friendship Circle. They open at 11:30 AM.
However to minimize your wait time we recommend registering online. Click here to register.

For those who register online at Walk4Friendship.com and pick up their shirt at Friendship Circle in advance (shirts will be available for pickup at Friendship Circle starting on August 30th) or register and pick up their shirt at the opening ceremony there will be no charge. For those who would like to pick up their walk shirt at the Walk after the walk there will be a $5 fee for the shirt.

Parking
All Parking will be at HenryFord Hospital, 6777 West Maple Road. Parking and shuttles will be at the employee lot.

Shuttles
Shuttles will begin running at 11:15 am. They will run regularly until the walk starts (approximately 12:55 pm). Once the walk begins shuttles will run from Henry Ford Hospital to the JCC and back to Henry Ford Hospital. This cycle will run repeatedly until the event ends.

Wheelchair accessible parking will be at Friendship Circle this year. Your car will be valeted to the JCC Where you will retrieve your car once you have finished participating in the post walk festivities. Please read the following guidelines closely

Wheelchair Parking Registration
When registering for the walk make sure you select yes when asked if you need Wheelchair Accessible Parking. A few days before the walk you will receive an email confirmation for valet parking. You must print out this email and bring it with you to Friendship Circle. Cars without this email may not be allowed into Friendship Circle to park.

Arrival Time
You must arrive at Friendship Circle between 10:30am and 11:45am in order to park your car at Friendship Circle. Any car that arrives after that time will need to park at Henry Ford Hospital and take the wheelchair accessible shuttle to Friendship Circle.

Please note: Wheelchair accessible parking is only for a car with an individual in a wheelchair. Everyone else (including others with special needs) should park in the general parking lot at the JCC  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing walk@friendshipcircle.org.

Yes, you can. Activities will be running from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM.

The event must go on! We will accommodate the rain changes by moving most of our activities inside. If severe weather is expected, we will e-mail you with a "rain-plan". on the morning of the walk.

Yes, we will be providing food & refreshments both at the JCC & the Meer Family Friendship Center. All food & refreshments are free of charge!

Yes, we will have a first aid station along with the West Bloomfield Fire Department and Ambulance on hand.

Yes, security will be placed throughout the event
