Welcome to Cookie & Vic Koblin's Page
Cookie Koblin
Over the years, Friendship Circle has given Spencer confidence in himself and the ability to assume independence in the community. As a result of his field trips with the Torah Teens group, he now enjoys going to the mall by himself and is confident and comfortable there.
My other grandchildren have all been (or currently are!) volunteers at Friendship Circle. Corey plays basketball weekly alongside children with special needs in Friendship Circle’s Inclusion League while Rachel and Carly were volunteers for many years throughout high school. In fact, Rachel is now on scholarship at Kalamazoo College and works with children who have special needs on the west side of the state. Vic and I are also volunteers two days a week for the Lessons for Life program. We spend the morning helping students with special needs from all across metro Detroit learn life skills. I also just recently helped start a grandparents support group alongside my friend, Sandy Boykansky.
Thank you in advance for your support and love!
